Boxing Was sitting here reading when I heard a huge grunting noise under the house (the house is on stilts) I rushed out to find two huge Kangaroos boxing each other, I chased them off and laughed as the dogs barked at them and begged to be let loose, it seems we all get edgy at times (its mating time here, at least for the roos :() Kevin |
Thank you Kevin!! That was a good laugh. I like the part "at least for the roos." |
Oh Kevin, what a sight! That's hilarious! You're so lucky! |
Lmao!!!!!!!! |
Hey Done, I finished teh Marathon :) Not a great time as I hurt my leg at 26km and had to stop for 30 mins, but I started again and finished, been resting most of the week am running a short (12km) race tomorrow and if I can raise the moeny will come and run in the LA Marathon. The roos are funny, they keep coming back under the house, its driving the dogs nuts :) Kevin |
I keep thinking about the Tom & Jerry cartoons when the baby kangaroo is mistaken for a giant mouse. Nothing like that here in Pennsylavania USA. Post some pics if you can get them! Thanks! BHJ |
Unreal Kevin........ what a great picture you have given us....to have wild kangaroos boxing under your house....! All I can say is AWESOME! |
I used to date a guy from Melbourne named Bob He told me it was always mating season in Aussie-land Was he lying to me? Do you know him? (ducking from Kev) |
lol Carol, I guess it is, it just passes me buy for a few years every now and then. Bob? I think I know him he was .... :) |
Where I grew up in Pennsylvania (US east coast) the only thing you had to worry about were groundhogs coming over from cornfield and digging up your garden. |
Kev...are you sure they are just boxing under there? What pick up line did the male roo use? "Hey babes, you're really hopping...Wanna find true love under Kev's house?" :lmao |
cmc maybe its a good sign that sexual things are happening nearby me? Maybe some lovely woman is going to come skipping out of the trees and .... |
:dunno I dunno kevo, maybe the future mrs kev is out running a marathon? :c024: |
Righto, I better put on me shos and keep on running then? |
mr cmc turned up in a very unlikely time and situation...but he decided to stick around....you never know heh? |
thanks for the fun on this thread. it's just what i needed right now. a laugh. (as opposed to a pet kangaroo!!!!!!!!!!!) |
Nothing that exciting happens in England. I just have a hedgehog in my garden and I don't know how they mate - ouch! |

That is exciting, at least for girl hedgehogs - boy hedgehogs are covered head to toe in pricks. Please excuse my crude humour. :( /Oh, I going to hell for that one. See you there. |
nogard, just realised you said your house was on stilts. That is the coolest thing ever! We need to start building houses like that here in the UK becoz of all our flooding problems! See how deprived we are: no roos, no stilts! |
OMG, you guys are cracking me up! Thanks, I needed the laughs. I always wondered how porcupines did it too.... |

Oh, c'mon. This isn't even a challenge anymore. You're like a nitrous oxide dealer at a comedy club. Cockies are known to be very destructive when they are in large numbers, they where about 40 on my roof this morning and loud banging noises coming from that direction. So either someone with big boots on was dancing on my roof or it was the birdies! |
