Just checking in, I am heading to the pool with my girls. Going to church tonight and a 10:00 pm meeting later in a log cabin (here in rustic Florida LOL). Busy day planned here. NO TIME FOR QUITTING!!!!!

((Pattee)) I hate days like that. You know how they say "we cause a lot of our own problems." When I have those testing days I look to see what my part was in it. Sometimes I can't find it!! LOL "I swear I'm not causing this. I just want to be happy." But it sure doesn't work that way sometimes!! LOL I hope today is better for you!! :hug:

((Denise)) So that Aflack duck is an alcoholic too!! Wow, I didn't know that!! LOL Strap him down, no quitting for him either!! So happy you are here!!

((Kevin)) Gotta tan the skin to go with the new hair color!! I had blonde highlights but in mine. That way when I'm stupid, I have an excuse!! hehe

You know, the house still looks pretty clean since the party last Saturday. I'm starting to realize that if I keep up on it, and make the kids help, it's not near as overwhelming. DUH!! Still working on that part of myself. I hate to clean!! Now if I could just pay the bills on time. UGH!!

Took our 2 y/o daughter to the Dr. yesterday. Now she has an ear infection (or as my son says, ear confection, hehe) She keeps me up at night coughing so much she pukes. Hoping the meds will kick in soon.

I can't remember if I told you guys or not. My mother in law left a message on the answering machine the other day. She told us how proud her and father in law were of us and what we were doing!! They have always been great to me, but their continued support really means a lot!!

Already asked HP to help keep me sober today. So if I keep doing the next right thing, I won't be quitting today!!

Looks like we keep moving forward here, Just For Today we never have to use again. Keep moving forward, small steps are ok...Looks like another lovely day.

Wow!! All the new people! And all the old friends! This has become such a happening place.

Thanks for the support from my dear friends here, Bonni, Wings, Ash, Kevin, and many others.

Personally a very rough time for me, but I will start checking in here again every day; it is so wonderful to have such a community. I am glad our list is keeping up!!

yep--today is actually my 21st day--so count me in on the days ahead gang. Three weeks (almost) and darn proud of it!

just passed a big test today. went to the boat and yacht club and didn't drink with any of those crazy boozy boaters! yay! even went out for mexican food and didn't get a beer or a margarita--another big test passed!
