I haven't posted as much as I wanted the last week, but doing good. Busy at work which is great. 2 weeks tomorrow! and trying to quit cigarettes....that one is really kicking my ass :( coming up on 24hrs for that.

Just checking in at Day 7. Doing well. Got through some of my volunteer stress with no thoughts of drinking so that’s progress. The goofy thing is volunteering shouldn’t be stressful but I always end up being in charge. My goal is to detach from that stuff and only do things that bring joy. Good luck to me lol.

Wonderful to have worked yesterday. I only work three days every six weeks, which is a blessing and a curse.

Had a yummy dinner of seared tuna steak, sautéed asparagus and a plop of wild rice mix, followed by a tiny AV that was quickly squashed and a gorgeous fire in the wood fireplace. Alcohol was not on the list last night. It’s off the list permanently.

Snowing like heck out there!

Todays plan, let Mr Free sleep in, go to one person gym downstairs (it’s tiny), go to stores and bridal florist later.

I will not drink today or any day. I’m not dying for a drink. Really

I’m feeling improvement, but still on liquid diet for now. I’m still rather anxious because my last bout of this was a very severe situation that landed me in the hospital fighting for my life and to avoid a colostomy. So, I’m being very careful about what I put into my system. It certainly makes it easy to not drink! 🤢

I am having the hardest time getting traction again... I need to stick close to SR and come up with some new tools.

I deactivated my fb this morning, not because of me posting silly stuff. But my father used his Moms account to view mine (again). So frustrated over that, but will not be drinking because of it.

Late baseball game tonight at 8 for my middle son. Definitely don't want to be drinking for that.

Maybe you can prepare a nice thermos and snacks for the game. :) :hug: s xx

Odd. My stomach is cramped up all the way to my back. Stopped drinking in February then drank Saturday and Sunday… could it be a withdrawal symptom? Have any of you experienced something similar?

I’m in bed with a heating pad and my Saltines waiting for it to pass so I can eat some real food ☺️

I did.. she’s out of town and I took the first available appointment Monday the 24th. I’ll go to urgent care if needed or it worsens.

I want to get my blood drawn anyway. For some reason I didn’t get it done during my annual physical a couple months ago 🤷🏼‍♀️
