Good morning Overs.

Congratulations Stronger :c011:

Itchy it just proves this disease isn't selective.

Have a good day everyone.

Congratulations Stronger on 500! ( or is that 501 now! )

Safe travels Itchy

Guys, I have a lot going on just now, with moving house next week and other stuff I have to organise, so if I'm not around for a while, don't worry, I'm fine, just busy.

Looks like our first "real" snowfall is due tonight (3-7 inches). We've had a mild winter so far, so we're long overdue for some cold and snow.

Have a Fantastic Friday, overs!

Mags1 01-18-2019 02:34 AM

Toots, all the best with the moving house, hope the weather stays away, especially snow, until you’ve moved.

Saskia 01-18-2019 04:50 AM

Good morning, Overs.

Congrats, Stronger!

Lots of snow coming here this weekend...

Have a happy POETS Day :-)

Have a good weekend my friends. xx

Good morning Overs.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hey all!
First let me add my congrats to you for your 500 days stronger!

Dee, Pj, Mags, badger, Star, Wolf, Toots
Thanks I will drive safely. I am also retired and am waiting out this URI to be over. Then I can stop at any motel if the weather is dicey. I won't leave without a solid week of good weather predicted along my route.

Toots I'm in the same mode. I spent the last two days getting the yard trimmed back despite getting my rider stuck in the mud twice. Edged, weedeated, riding and push mowed it and though muddy from head to toe, also used the grass catcher on the yard tractor to vacuum up all the leaves on the high part of the lawn. They're piled and ready to burn. The rest is so wet it is just gonna have to wait, as every year. It was 65° here all day and warm tomorrow too, might hit 70.

Andy,
No it isn't selective is it.

Toots,
We are in the organizing stage too taking my pickup loaded with great stuff that did not sell at the last yard sale. So pardon my short catch ups!

It's 4AM and time for my Aleve and Flexeril for my aching muscles.

Nite.

Itchy, I suspect that after this move you won’t be doing quite that much heavy stuff!

We are expecting that big snowstorm this weekend so I am snuggled in and ready.

Have a good day, Overs :grouphug:

FBL 01-19-2019 04:33 AM

Stay safe & warm, Sassy.

We've got about 6 inches of snow here so far this morning. Will probably go over and shovel the boss's walk in a bit so their lady can come and get Fran up for the day.

Have a great weekend, overs!

venuscat 01-19-2019 04:37 AM

We got nothing.....not a drop nor a flake.....but it is coming....I can feel it..... (plus I just checked the weather forecast.....he he).

I am thinking we should have done grocery shopping yesterday, but Nick's truck is huge and he doesn't mind a bit of snow...I would love a repeat of last weekend....Nick grilled in the snow with an umbrella and the patio heater on...oh, and gum boots....I really should have taken pics.

Glad that Fran has such wonderful care FBL....from all of you. :)

Sorry I missed tons.... love to everyone. ♥♥

Love to all the Overs :D

My first week in my new job has gone very well, and I feel like I have been there for ages already haha! I am doing a very hands-on technical job - very much the same kind of things I did some years ago in my career. So, everything is definitely doable, but I have had the odd moments of personal frustration whereby I have gone 'I used to be able to do xyz in a flash - now it is taking me ages to figure it out' - all par for the course for being that bit older and a few years since having done the same before, I guess! I am just thankful for the employment and will take everything one day at a time, as I pretty much do now for everything :)

venuscat 01-19-2019 04:49 AM

That's wonderful love! So glad the job is going well....and I bet you will get really fast really quick... :) ♥

FBL 01-19-2019 06:19 AM

Surprised the boss with my shoveling duties this morning. No way I would've done that in my selfish alcoholic daze.

Mags1 01-19-2019 08:42 AM

Fbl, that’s very good of you!

Itchy 01-19-2019 03:48 PM

Sassy,
"Itchy, I suspect that after this move you won’t be doing quite that much heavy stuff!

You bet! Edibles only:18: Stay snug in the snow!

FBL,
You're such a nice guy! Don't overdo the shoveling!

FG,
Cut yourself some slack, experience only let's you go look up exactly what you need, understand it, and get back up to speed faster. I am glad you are fitting in so well so soon!
