Andy, my sincere condolences to your family.

Same for you, Wolfie.

This is one of my favorites:

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I've found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Life's been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch,

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

God wanted me now, He set me free.

Man takes what he wants, bird takes what he needs.’

Good morning Overs.

I slept through the night, the first time in weeks, the healing begins.
I went to see the funeral director yesterday. From an earlier phone conversation I only remembered his name as Sam. When I saw him I thought I recognised him and then he asked if I had children who went to our local school. It turned out that he was an ex-maths teacher who taught our children and had met Mrs T at parents evenings.

Football this morning for DD.

Mom is doing fine. She's looking forward to my Thanksgiving visit in a few weeks, as am I.

Heading to another card show this morning. I'm working on several different sets now, so am sure to find something!
