Thanks SG. I shouldn’t think I’d have been able to take my work as far as I have (if anywhere at all) had I still been drinking! Lots to be thankful for 🙂🙂🙂

It is pretty amazing to think that we are hitting seven years during the course of this month!

Amp, are you painting full time or are you still running your business? You have become an extremely prolific, and talented, painter.

Lovely to hear from you SG and congratulations on the upcoming 9 years.

I’ve had a complicated time recently and at a low ebb I began dabbling in booze again. It was the worst idea ever but I’m doing better and have been dry for nearly a month now.

At the moment I don’t feel like drinking at all and I find it hard to believe that I was back into it so recently.

Anyway, I wish you all well and hope that you are staying strong in your sobriety!

I'm glad you're not drinking Amp - however bad things get a drink can always make it much much worse.

I am glad that you popped back on SR Amp. I hope you can put together another long run free of drinking. You know what you need to know and do. You will always have huge support here!

I’m hoping to be able to jump right back into sobriety and leave the last few months behind. I am feeling mentally stronger now. I started seeing a therapist and I think that is helping. I appreciate the support you guys have always given me and will work hard not to let either you or myself down.

It's funny as your more recent artwork has seemed a little darker than what you have been painting over the past few years. I guess what you have been experiencing personally has bled into your creative side.
