JulietUK, well do I know and understand the tears. For me it was feeling helpless and hopeless, along with previously numbed emotions coming uninvited and in waves. All or nothing..intense emotion or boredom. With time it does settle, posting here and meetings and professional counseling and every day routine helped me a great deal. Prayers to you. |

10:04 pm in California and checking in for another 24. I started watching Sex and the City again tonight, I blame the cover of People magazine for sucking me in. Tomorrow is my daughter's first track meet. She is definitely Running the 1600, and is also signed up for the 800 and 3200, she will probably do the 32. My other daughter has theater, and my son will be working on his invention project. So s busy weekend. I am hoping that it doesn't rain tomorrow. Have a great night. ❤️Delilah |

3:24 a.m......checking in for 24 very early! Hard to sleep with strong sustained winds tearing up limbs and dropping trees. Fortunately we only lost power for 15 minutes. But a rough day and night in NE PA. I think the worst is over now, though, at least for us...Praying for the coastal towns. They are in it for at least another day. Looking forward to the weekend with my family. Be well 24HRC'ers! |
