Nick and I had a very big day yesterday ~ some very serious stuff that needed to be taken care of. And we did it together. And came out stronger than ever. And of course after the hard stuff I always want to celebrate our achievements, and I do it with plants. :) And I do it with Nick's blessing ~ he shares every bit of my joy. We sat on our swing last night and enjoyed what is becoming our lovely garden. Here are the new guys.... http://i.imgur.com/VRg1fye.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RDfcRU4.jpg Beautiful plants, too. |
I forgot one, and it is an important one....Nick found this and loved it and for some reason I didn't see how special it was last week. Hmm. I sure do now. It is now living on the window ledge at the top of the stairs.... http://i.imgur.com/Hw7NzAZ.jpg |

Love the cute little feet at the bottom :) |
Looks like you're making a pleasant home. Love the owl windchime. :) |
I agree with Least. You're a wonderful homemaker, Suze! Your home must be a very warm place for Nick to come back to. |

Oh....I have the most incredible friends. Thank you. I love you. So so much. ♥ s I have been having problems getting in touch with you and Nick. I am sending you several white lilies for your garden and other ones for indoors. The supplier says that they will die unless they are planted immediately since it is so late in the season. I shall not be posting on SR for a good while since my wife's health problems seem to have worsened. Neither can I travel anymore since airline procedures might very well create a risk of a heart attack at my age (90) and cardiac issues. We wish you all the happiness in the world and the same goes for Willow, whom I hope arrives and takes charge very soon.:c011: Fondly, Bill and Boswell |
Plants - what a great way to celebrate. And cheaper than powertools :) |

Hi Bill. You'll have to explain that to a layman, magazine philisopher :) |

Hi Bill. You'll have to explain that to a layman, magazine philisopher :) What I meant is that the "tools" for achieving sobriety (I refer to "Higher Power" but meant "tools" in a larger sense than that used by AA) come without cost. (e.g. Easy Does It!, Don't try to change stuff that can't be changed!. Do one thing at a time! Live in the Present! Get to know your true self! Forgive others and forgive yourself! Reach out and help others) You pay nothing for them. But you do pay for failing to use them. At least I paid for forty years. These tools have been around for 2500 years. And I assume I am not unusual or phony in making that observation. It is not "magazine" stuff. It is the stuff of reality. Am I "preaching".? I don't really care. I care about being sober and helping others to be sober if I can. I wish them and you well. Over and out. W. |
aaaahhh, LOVE is the key :) ♥ (((Bill))) love your "Higher Power Tools" :grouphug: to all! |
Thanks for your advice. I agree with all of it. PS; I was referring to myself as a magazine philisopher. Kind regards. Vinny. |

More new flowers :) http://i.imgur.com/TYtnf2u.jpg And there are a few new succulents up on the shelf in the kitchen to replace the original pansies that didn't make it....of course we couldn't just throw them out, so they are in the garden outside now trying their hardest to survive. I have faith. :) |
