Thank you for the new thread Dee and for everything you do. Thank you to the 'behind the scenes' people who do their thing and keep everything running smoothly. Thank you to my sober brothers and sisters, you are keeping it real for me every single day. Please keep sharing. You inspire me daily. I've noticed that my language is changing. I mean the self talk; the head stuff. My thinking is more "does that action/thing/decision/thought support my 'recovery'?" rather than "does it support my 'sobriety'?" It's a subtle distinction but to me an important one. I don't feel like I'm fighting with myself any more, not over drinking at any rate. I'm rambling but I wanted to get it out of my head. Perhaps it would have been better on a blog post. It's done now. Happy Saturday friends, hope you have a good one. I'll have me another 24 please. 6.15am UK |
