I am struggling with this realization so hard right now I am sometimes paralyzed to immobility. I feel so trapped, with no idea how to change my life so I am ENJOYING it rather than just moving through it. It's just another thing I have to work through, I guess. But seeing these words which echo my thoughts makes me think it's time for some big changes. I cannot go on like I am. Thanks for the validation, NGB.

Here for 24 more. But wow, do I wish I could turn my mind off for awhile....

24 More please

24 more please.

Trying hard to be upbeat.

Congrats to all the milestoners and anyone else celebrating sobriety today, if it's the first day of your journey, or if you've lost count, well done.

I choose life, and staying true to my promise to myself to stay sober.

I've trawled the internet tonight searching for inspiration to help ward off the darkness that is depression, without much luck.

I have to say that even as a straight male I'm a little bit in love with Stephen Fry. Somewhat of an ambassador in the cause of depression awareness and a hugely witty man to boot.

Anyway, hope everyone's doing ok tonight. I've drunk enough herbal tea to send a normal person into a valerian - induced coma but no joy sleeping yet.

Off to lie quietly and read a good book. Here's hoping for a better day tomorrow...

Stay safe and be nice
NGB x

I'm back. I don't want to drink ever again.

Glad you're back! We do it ODAAT.
