Grateful the snow flurries didn't materialize. Grateful for my surviving houseplants despite my black thumb. Grateful for continued weight loss - doesn't amount to much yet. Grateful to be sober with no temptation to cave. Grateful for you all. :ring: |
Hev, congrats on your weight loss. You are doing wonderfully! :hug: Grateful for all my friends here and your posts. So uplifting to read everyone's grats. Grateful, I think, to be going to my sister's and BIL's for a bar b que for a combination of my mom's bday and mother's day. I hope things go well. I am really grateful to be able to see my niece and nephews. They are such a joy to me. Luke hasn't been doing so well lately. Good morning all, I got back here at last, I can't believe that I've been forgetting to post here in the mornings, though I have posted on the bedtime grats. I'll make more effort to make time. Thank you Anna for the new part. Grateful to be here. Grateful to read all your grats. Grateful I slept well last night for the most part. Grateful the rain has stopped even though I don't think it will be for long. Grateful to hear the birds singing. Grateful to be the only one up in the house. Grateful that Loki kitten is having a quiet moment and sleeping, she's been a little terror this morning. Grateful for the serenity prayer. Grateful Hevyn's losing weight, it makes me want to lose some too. Grateful that Aly loves and cares for Luke so well. Grateful for all of you. xxx |

Grateful that Sunpen always posts about walking on the beach in the morning - a dream! Grateful that Hev's plants are alive, and I truly wish I could say the same about mine. ;) Grateful for coffee. Grateful for my super comfortable bed, and a decent night's sleep. Grateful that I avoided my tendency to overload my day and invite everyone over, especially since we're having family over next weekend. Grateful my nieces and nephew have their piano recitals on Zoom, it's beyond adorable. Grateful that I got some housework done yesterday. Grateful I've gotten into the habit of waiting before sending certain emails. Grateful to be constantly learning. Incredibly grateful to be sober. |

Hevyn congrats on your weight loss. They say that slow and steady is the way to go. Free I love watching hummingbirds they are one of nature's treasures. Palmer coffee on a bakehouse deck sounds peaceful. Sunpengwn what a treat it must be to live on the beach. Welcome back Daisybelle. Devizes Happy Birthday Eve! Grateful to be at the beach this morning waking up to the waves. Grateful for my three children on this Mother's Day. This will be my first mother's day without seeing any of them as they are all grown and two live elsewhere. Although I will see one of my daughter's tomorrow when she joins us at the beach rental. Grateful for some good sleep. Grateful for sunshine and a walk on the beach soon. Grateful for SR and all of you. |

It is better today Grateful for the beautiful cards and creative gifts from Mr F and sonny boy for Mother’s Day Grateful for some Happy Mother’s Day greetings from close friends. Happy Mother’s Day to all women. We all care, nurture, love and create life in some way whether we have kids, fur kids, aspire to have kids, or no kids. Love to anyone suffering in any way today. Mother’s Day can be bittersweet for some. I lost my mom several years ago. She was mentally and physically ill, so Mother’s Day was always hard even when she was alive. I also went through many years wanting to have a child but not being able to. That was rough on Mother’s Day too. Grateful for each of you |

Many don't have the ideal Hallmark Card situation. Grateful there'll be no more snow - but is it too much to ask for warmer temps.? Grateful that in 2 wks. it's safe to start buying some flowers. Grateful to feel peace and happiness in taking flowers to mom's grave this morning. Grateful for all the love and care she gave me. Grateful she gave me life. Grateful for coffee. Grateful for a somewhat frantic but overall happy Mother's Day. Grateful I went over to see my MIL. Grateful for her friendship and our mutual respect for each other. Grateful my mom seemed to have a really nice day too. Grateful my younger son went out of his way to connect with his grandparents (he's at "that age"). Grateful I didn't spend the day drinking and exhausted. Grateful I had a bunch of treats and am back on track with healthier eating today. Grateful to be sober. |
