I slept over 11 hours, I think. Now it's time to get crackin'. I have an appointment at 9 with a trainer for an assessment to start the Body Success program at Gold's Gym. Should be interesting.

I am grateful this morning that things that used to totally baffle me I now know how to deal with, and if I don't, I know how to ask for help. I am also grateful that I can feel feelings without being totally consumed by them.

I am grateful for my Dad. Despite my issues with him he is sober (37 years), he loves his grandaughters, he loves me and he makes the effort to stay involved in our lives.

I am grateful for my dad, too, despite certain issues. He lets us live in his house and paid our bills for a long time while I was out of work.

I am also grateful for going to my home group last night. It was a really good meeting and I hung out and talked to some people afterward.

I am grateful for the meeting I went to last night. I got a lot of good feedback. Surrender and acceptance, Eddie!!

Also grateful for people at work being will to switch on-call nights with me. I really appreciate their flexibility since my schedule is kind of erratic lately.

I am grateful today that last night I slept all night. No waking. It was good restful sleep and that makes me happy.

Hey everyone! Good to see that everything seems to be moving along for those that need work!

I'm grateful that I will be able to save some money for the next 6 months. I'm moving in with a friend of mine from the program in April. The only thing is that it's kinda far from where I am now and the meetings I usually go to. But, I've never been that scared of change. It's good to mix things up a little!

Hopefully I'll also be able to move my job location. I was told that people tip better in the area where I might be working--which is also a nice bonus!

I am grateful for my OA sponsor, Kathy (sp?). We went out for coffee after the meeting last night and had a good talk and a good time.

Also grateful for being on Phase II of the South Beach Diet now. It gives me a lot more choices about what I eat.

Eddie, my Dad and his wife are on South Beach. He has lost about 15 pounds in two months. I am grateful I have a sponsor. She is cool and I love her.

At a meeting last night I met someone aI know but have not seen for 15 years, I am grateful for that meeting it was/is uplifting.
