One of the cards on the wall in an AA meeting I went said "First Thing First"
I applied it this way :
"What will I do if I lose my job? I won't drink
If my car get wrecked? I won't drink.
If someone insults me ? I won't drink "
You get the picture : my sobriety is above everything in my life.

Thanks so much. The AV is talking a lot today and is rather annoying. I did 45 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes weight workout. I may have to do another round and also work on a sewing project. Dang it go away AV..You are not my friend!!!!!

Ended up using the treadmill again for another 30 minutes, shoveled the snow and did some sewing. My MIL wanted me to teach her some exercise so now I guess I am her personal trainer. LOL It took quite a while today for AV to go away but I held strong. Kind of like I did with my sister. It is NOT going to control me.
