I'm a Radiohead fan as well. there is actually someone in my home group who looks like yorke. I brought it up after one of the meetings and alot of people agreed, ha. |
I just got back from a walk to the beach and I was really happy that I spotted Jonathan soaring :) https://i.imgur.com/jP1N3cRl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/JV1UwMNl.jpg |
Thich Nhat Hanh died today at the age of 95. I've only read one of his books, Being Peace, but love his perspective on life. Rest in peace, gentle monk. You taught us a lot, if only we could learn it. :( https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/21/w...ae42d238639f6d |
Willow, I’ve missed Jonathan, thanks for the photos. He’s certainly soaring high. :) |
I hope the covid is mild and doesn't hang around long, Midnight. Nice to see Johnathan and the beautiful beach again, Willow.

Kaily, is there any chance you got particles of wood-dust or something in your eyes when you were drilling? Regardless, I think you should see a health-care professional sooner rather than later. Eyes are special. I was really frustrated yesterday when I couldn't pop to the shop to buy medicinal chocolate. Then the av popped up to add a drink would be lovely and you could get that delivered. I went to bed. Thanks for all the well wishes, :) |
Kaily, pleased it’s settling down a bit. Hopefully the antihistamines are doing their stuff. When I had an allergic reaction down one side of my face and around the eye, I had to go to work. And it was before mask wearing when I would e gladly put a bag over my head to cover the swelling. When my boss jumped back when he saw me I realised it was obvious to see! :biglaugh: |
End of Day 69. Wishing everyone strength to remain sober this weekend! Good night from Seattle. Thought of the day: Back in my native place, there is a saying that a tiger that has tasted human blood becomes a man eater and must be shot as it doesn't like other kinds of meat anymore. That tiger is AV. It must be eradicated, there is no way it can be kept alive unless we feed ourselves to it. |

Then he realised it's rude to stare, so he looked away. Then he had a third, sneaky look. :biglaugh: |
Goodnight calmself, congratulations on day 69. :) Caramel, I’m surprised he didn’t ask you for details:biglaugh: |
I'm considering going out in sunglasses, a mask and a peaked cap. People will think I'm a celeb! |
well, last night was literally the first time I felt uncomfortable/ackward at an AA meeting. some context: during my in-patient treatment we all went to an AA meeting at night at a different location. Now that I'm outpatient, I like to meet up with the group to see how everyone is doing and catch up. It was extremely obvious that two people had taken a liking to each other and they were making that known. I was the lucky person to sit next to them. They were literally eye making out with each other without making out. I could have moved but that would have seemed weird during the meeting. At least wait until the meeting is over to get your flirt on. I'm also fully aware that flirting does happen, but I just noticed it way more last night. |
Happy clear and clean Saturday morning everyone! |
Opening my eyes on Saturday morning and finding out I'm clean and sober never gets old! Have a good day Weekender friends :grouphug: |
Has anyone posted the song yet? I can't help but think of it every time I see this thread title. :) |
1 Attachment(s) Hi, Mr J. Seagull, good to see you. Thx Venuscat, Deltron3030 get the occasional airplay on the station I listen to (6 Music) Good stuff. This is a Zagsto bodied Maserati A6 2000 from 1955. Rather handsome don't you think? |
What a beautiful car :) |
A surgeon had me ride in his custom Maserati about 10 years ago. It looked regular to me, but this 1955 model is SWEET! Thanks for sharing! |
