HAPPY NEW YEAR and a special welcome to all the newcomers! 2020 was a tough year for many of us and I'm sure we are all looking forward to better times in 2021.

I don't know what these classes entail, but have been waiting for this post to show up. Can I please participate? I am also doing this while reading "the alcohol experiment". I've got about a dozen audio books under my belt, have tapered so it's safe.... and have a rather annoying medical procedure this month which will "help". My hope is at the end of the month to have seen a new possible life for myself.

Welcome to all joining the Class of January 2021!! I have been a member of several classes, but January 2016 was the one that helped me to reach five years of sobriety today. I am looking forward to meeting all of you joining this class!! You are making a great chioice for yourself today!!

Hi 🙂 I’m in for 2021! I have been on this site for a long time trying to quit off and on but I am definitely sick and tired of being sick and tired and I’m ready to go all in and be DONE! Look forward to sharing the journey with this class!

Waiting for class Jan 21 to come up. In and in it for the long run.

I had huge support from my Class of Dec 2015. It was a place I would drop into every day and say hello to everyone. I would come home from work in the evenings and instead of drinking, I would make dinner and log into SR to post in my Class and see how everyone was doing. It saved me from drinking and risky situations countless times.

So I do encourage anyone who is newly sober to just start posting here - say hi, a short intro if you feel like it, then maybe share what's going on with you. What are you facing today you might need help with? What little wins do you feel like celebrating with others who understand? What are your goals in sobriety? Please don't be shy, I felt 100% safe in my Class.

I'm in! I'm making a plan this time and working the plan. I'm feeling content right now after a traditional New Years dinner - stuffed actually - lol. I know I'll need support in the days ahead. I didn't do this the last time I was here, So I'm doing it now.

Joining a class was the best thing I did when I came to SR. I felt completely safe and posted everything that was going on and received tremendous support.

Hi everyone

I'm WB and I am an alcoholic. I have been drinking for 30 plus years, and i want to stop. I'm sick of felling sick. As you can see from my join date I have been here for a while, with mixed results. 2021 gonna be different for this lad. I'm going to lean on you fine folks for support, and maybe be a help to others along the way.

HI! I am so excited to join this class. Looking forward to the support it offers. I am brand new on this journey but I can't wait to reclaim my time and health. can't wait to see what 2021 brings. It has to be better than 2020! Happy New Year to all.
