Thanks for sharing, MesaMan. Sounds like your discipline has been rewarded by a well-earned divident.

Retirement at 48 sounds good to me.
I will try to aim for 50. The dream :)
Howdy Captain.. :wavey: and Tetra and Sao that I see connected too.

Evening, weekenders.

My regular routine to close the day - 2 workouts, reading, meditation, go to sleep.

See you on a new thread.

Hello all, checking in. Not in a great place mentally, not drinking not even planning on it, forcing myself to be happy and positive for husband, not the negative, angry feelings I am having. He deserves better.
Work has been horrid and I cant seem to leave it there, waking up at night thinking about events and actions that occurred that shift.
Unmotivated, easier to sit and stare at the tv right at the moment,,,need to get up and do something,,, picking up dog poo sounds appropriate so off I go.

Sorry for the downer post, the irreverent, annoying badger will return soon I am sure.

You're never annoying, Badge.

I hope you are able to relax and unwind this evening.

((((Badge)))))) I hope you’re feeling better soon.
I get pulled down into sad, bleak, despairing moods sometimes.
The only thing that really helps is reminding myself that like everything else, they will pass.
I’m seeing my psychologist today, I intend to focus on my sadness and the underlying causes and tools for moving forward. My last couple of sessions I seem to have gotten sidetracked by relationship stuff that is just storms in teacups, and passes quickly. I need to get to the deeper underlying stuff...

And yay, it’s Friday! See you on the next weekender everyone :wavey:

I hope things pick up for you Badge- no pun intended...(well maybe a little)

The good thing about recovery for me is my bad days tend to stay bad days - they don't become bad weeks months or years?

Morning all.
I suppose everyone is waiting for the new thread...
See you all later....

Morning, Vinny.

I am just a little bit moody today - I blame gloomy weather and supposedly low blood pressure for this.

So I am "warming my mood up".
