Good. New glasses are fun. I got two new pairs and shouldn't have because I favor the ones I'm wearing now.

Morning Soberwolf, it's evening here.

Just dropping in to say that I am still alive and have been very busy working on my housing. Arduous but productive.

My budget fluctuated a bit this week but think I still came out of it really well.

Spent $13 at the op shop and scored a black and bespoke Italian wool man's suit. It fits like a glove, mixed metaphor. Wow!

Also two soft pink beautiful glass dishes that you put olives and cheese in lol One is particularly beautiful, and they do not match but look like they belong together.

A brand new emerald green jumper, and pair of brand new soft wool pants in a Gaelic sorta way :)

So I still reckon I'm ahead, that suit could have cost thousands in its day.

Also found tonight while organising a souvenir cow leather wallet 1960's which I oiled with Dubbin. It is really small and you can see how Africa the country, has been shattered and divided. Elephants and giraffes everywhere and a few spear carrying locals stuck up the top end. Bad times, then.

It is the wallet for the frugal. It has nothing in it, that's probably why it has never been used. :).

No money in Africa. Only the few.

But I do need to save. I'm not selling the suit on eBay though.

I'm boring everyone out so will quit posting. And I did buy ice cream :)

Thanks Sao. That's a top idea. What a great idea you had :) I would really like to be part of Weekenders.

Have so much going on that I might not be able to post as often as I would like but will try to keep abreast and want to get to know people, hands across the waters.

I know you can get conned but it has really surprised me that a connectedness with other people can actually take place in cyberspace.

I'd seen some data that said the same. For me, others too I'd guess, SR offers even more anonymity than AA , in the comfort of our own living rooms, but still with friends who get it. Not all, but many.

AA taught me a lot in the five years I went there but now just prefer to work on my recovery internally and externally here with SR. And then the real world steps in. I hope :)

That's something to look forward to.
