Another tune

Not much going on here!
Just gonna read for a bit and go to the river for a walk later.
Got groceries, cooked lunch and dinner, cleaned the car.
Did I already tell all of this haha
I'm a little bored- but I have things to keep me busy- so I'll drag my sorry ass around and do them!

I'm not going to the baseball game because I'll have to pick up daughter from the party. She'll start fading out around 8 and the ball game will be ten o'clock or so.

Marty, good luck. You get to enjoy the time after you talk. Maybe grab an ice cream afterwards?

Walked the boys up to the park for a few minutes. My parents will come get them soon for the game but I'm all for running them around outside.

I hope there are no kids at the hot tub too marty!
That makes me want to smash my face into a wall- you just want to relax and there's screaming kids everywhere.

I don't do well in shared spaces, I'll just have to keep growing my business and finish school; so I can buy my own hot tubs, pools etc.
I get irritated by other people being near me too easily.
Even someone standing close to me in line gets me turning around and giving dirty looks.
I fear I'm turning into a snotty bitch.

I'm done for the day... I discovered one of the tiers for the fountain had a leak - to the inside, should have waited before I sent the 'spare' back... but it's still okay... remote control works... dug out behind the 'dam' I had to put in, drilled a few holes, covered with mesh and 'filter' cloth and packed in drainage stone, finished the grade on that section and was working on the other part and realized I need to quit, I might get too carried away - I don't - I DO NOT - want to have to back fill by creating low spots and having it low the wrong way... I spent too much time out in the heat and needed to stop
what I need now is a good drenching rain to see how it works so far... who knows, I may have created a mess...
but I sat there admiring my handy work when I was done... it's starting to look like a 'real' walkway now, more sculpting and prep, then stone is next...

Do you and your wife hang out there in the evenings? Maybe you should put a table out there to enjoy your meals in the garden!! That would be so awesome!

Js, the fountain is adjacent to the deck, on those rare occasions we have dinner together we like to eat outside as much as possible... but this is all new and she has been going out and having her morning coffee by the fountain and reading her school chapters... I still have to resurface the deck - next...

LBrain, yes I started over a month ago. I've just now gotten over it. Lol. It was hell for a solid month. It is the hardest job I've ever had. But it's going to be one sweet gig now. It's mostly smooth sailing at this point. I'm over the hump, the point where the weaklings all quit, lol. I don't give up. Haha.

Well I got caught in a downpour on my walk!
It's been raining almost constantly for over a week so I wasn't surprised.
It was still really nice and there were a few other brave souls out walking too
