I think NOT drinking is making it much easier this time. I was not a big drinker, but even two beer made me start to crave my real vice, so I said NO drinking this time. Thanks a lot, Brazilian !

Hello my friends. Day 23 for me. Ash Wednesday. So many Ash Wednesdays I wanted to give up drinking but was afraid to. So now I can say that I gave up drinking for this Lent and next Lent, and the Lent after that. It's great to be free of alcohol!

Good morning. It's day Day 25 for me. Since we quit in the shortest month of the year, I will be at one month next Monday! (OK, I know its one day at a time, but I'm looking forward to a month of sobriety. Brazilian, I was wondering how you are feeling. Is your infection getting any better? Brazillian- way to go on 1 month!!

SA- I always look forward to milestones too! I think it helps to keep motivated and to have times to feel a certain amount of pride in what we're doing. Plus they're always good for looking back and seeing how far we have come.

I smoked pot for about 38 years on a regular basis but it had to go with the rest of the stuff. I am actually happier to live without it. Rootin for ya. :egypt:
