Signing up for 24 hours drink and drug free. 7:24am in Jacksonville, Florida. Congratulations to all celebrating milestones today!! :a122: I had a nice day yesterday. I picked up a sponsee that lives in transitional housing and we went to a few stores. I treated her to lunch at one of the Soul Food restaurants here and then we visited with Fahmeeda for a while before I took her home. I'm headed to the treatment center this morning to chair the spirituality meeting . This afternoon I'm packing up 3 of my furbabies for a doggie birthday party for a friend's shihtzu who's 1...lol!! Should be fun. I miss the Yappy Hour that we used to have here in Jacksonville. I hate that they closed the Landing where it was held. People would bring their furbabies for a day filled with games, usually a doggie fashion show and lots of treats. Wishing everyone love and light!! |

Morning! I went out last night to Secret Cinema Casino Royale in a mysterious location in London. Ooh, it was very exciting. We had to lock our phones away ... No photos, it's very secret.... And then we were given our mission details. I had to meet a certain person and get a certain business card and take a certain password to a certain location. Confusing, eh? I got confused and distracted by all the incredible stuff going on. So I didn't meet the person, get the business card or password or find out the location. I reckon I would be a totally rubbish spy. Anyway, it didn't seem to matter. I had an awesome time and after all the spy activities, we got to watch the film 'Casino Royale' on a massive screen in casino Royale world with hundreds of other people pretending to be spies. Awesome. Only minor mishap was during the journey home. We rushed to get the last train which we caught with moments to spare. It was rammed with people .... All at varying stages on the sober/drunk spectrum. As we were walking along the platform, I noticed 2 empty seats in a very crowded carriage so I grabbed my husband's hand and we jumped onboard and I ran to the empty seats and ...... Stepped and slipped over in a huge puddle of vomit. That's why the seats were empty. So my smart spy shoes and clothes got a bit covered in vomit but I can't complain. Be a bit hypocritical of me to complain. I'm sure someone somewhere stepped in my vomit at some point in time. Karma. Always at work. Wishing everyone a wonderful day and 24 more for me please xxxx |
