Evening (where I am at least) everyone.

I’d like another 24 hours of sobriety and just a little peace of mind, it’s a bit of a washing machine at the moment.

Just feel a little bit flat and isolated, even my homegroup meeting was a somewhat lacklustre tonight, only four of us there which is unusual.

I’m having Saturday and Sunday off work and that’s a strange feeling when I’m used to working every Saturday at least, but I need to stop using work as a justification for not addressing some of the things I need to apply thought to.

I went for a stroll through town earlier, bought myself a couple of rather nice (and rather expensive) pens on the basis that I plan on doing some more work on my step four, and I enjoy the feeling of a quality pen, it’s somewhat similar to using good quality tools in my line of work instead of cheap stuff.

If you’re gonna do a job you need the right tools...

I was going to say I haven’t done much today but upon reflection, I visited town, did some window shopping, bought pens and a nice set of headphones so I can begin to play my guitar again after a long time, treated a friend to lunch (and looked at the pretty ladies enjoying the sunshine), saw my brother, did a load of clothes washing, hit my meeting and now checking in here, with a plan to get up and go for a swim in the morning, now snacking on some olives and trying to find a game to download as a bit of a stress reliever.

So all in all I’ve actually done a reasonable amount I guess.

Sorry for the long post, just rambling on but it helps to articulate my thoughts and clear my head a little.

Morning! I went out last night to Secret Cinema Casino Royale in a mysterious location in London. Ooh, it was very exciting. We had to lock our phones away ... No photos, it's very secret.... And then we were given our mission details. I had to meet a certain person and get a certain business card and take a certain password to a certain location. Confusing, eh? I got confused and distracted by all the incredible stuff going on. So I didn't meet the person, get the business card or password or find out the location. I reckon I would be a totally rubbish spy. Anyway, it didn't seem to matter. I had an awesome time and after all the spy activities, we got to watch the film 'Casino Royale' on a massive screen in casino Royale world with hundreds of other people pretending to be spies. Awesome. Only minor mishap was during the journey home. We rushed to get the last train which we caught with moments to spare. It was rammed with people .... All at varying stages on the sober/drunk spectrum. As we were walking along the platform, I noticed 2 empty seats in a very crowded carriage so I grabbed my husband's hand and we jumped onboard and I ran to the empty seats and ...... Stepped and slipped over in a huge puddle of vomit. That's why the seats were empty. So my smart spy shoes and clothes got a bit covered in vomit but I can't complain. Be a bit hypocritical of me to complain. I'm sure someone somewhere stepped in my vomit at some point in time. Karma. Always at work. Wishing everyone a wonderful day and 24 more for me please xxxx
