Hello, it’s 7.11 am and I’m in for another day of freedom!

Good Morning Everyone. 24 more sober hours please. I won't be drinking today.

Congratulations to all having milestones today and to all those remaining sober.

Prayers to all who are struggling, sad or sick.

Just got back from my youngest son's sports day. He did so well.... all the kids did so well... don't know how they managed all the egg & spoon races and obstacle courses in this heat. So then there was the mum's race and of course I took part..... if little kids can run around in this heat, so can I. The thing is, I was wearing denim shorts and flip flops and when I got on the start line I noticed some mums were wearing proper running kit and trainers. I had a moment of self doubt ..... what if I fall over or come last or somehow embarrass my son??..... then I thought, 'f*** it! Let's do this' so I kicked off my flip flips, ran bare foot and came second!! I've got my older kids sports day tomorrow and I will be going for gold. I'll wear my trainers, warm up properly and have some energy drinks ready...... I'm joking!! Maybe.
