Congratulations all you 2 year olds!! Haha. That includes me too. Fun to be a kid again ain't it! I can't imagine how I could have done this without any of you. :) I've had a horrible cold this week and right when they fired one of the managers so I got a "promotion". I now have 5 internal direct reports and 32 in the field. It would help if I knew what my new department actually did. Insurance and patient intake. Not exactly my area of expertise. But I'm good with people and im not a micro-manager so I guess we will figure it out. It's been long hours but that's okay. I can handle hard work but I can't handle negative mean people and the old manager of that department was definately that. I went through every nook and cranny of her office and I swear all this person did was write reports on every single thing everyone did. I found one where it was a list of how many bagels everyone ate. If we have a birthday in the office, we'd bring in bagels for everyone. I guess I had 1.5 that day. I sh*t you not. My first executive order. You get a day off to take the month of your birthday. And eat as many bagels as you want...or none. I don't care. I don't get people sometimes. I can't breath through my nose and I ache all over. Other than that...all is just fine. Darn cold. First one I had all year. Later when I can sit upright for a length of time! xoxo |

Good morning (just) Marchers :) It's been quiet here overnight, you must all be having a lovely Sunday. Today being Monday I have lots of bits and pieces to do, I've cleaned the house, done three loads of washing and the grocery shopping, now it's time to put the bread in the oven and make the yoghurt. Have a good day peeps. |
Marcher13: You sound like you have been a busy bee today! Several other threads that I post to have also been quiet as well... I don't know how the weather is in all places here in the US, but Denver hit a record high for today... 79 degrees Fahrenheit. It was just beautiful outside and I was able to spend several hours enjoying the sun. |
Yesterday was nap day for me--I had family members sacked out all over the house in a Sunday afternoon nap-a-thon! |
