Hello, Marchers!

I'm very sorry for my absence. I feel like a horrible friend. I haven't been around much on SR at all lately. I'm going through a rough time. I have been for the past couple of weeks now. Going through some major life changes and all of it as well as the stress accompanied with it. I still struggle some days but I think things are getting better meaning I'm doing my best to move on.

My notice of default came to my house. No surprise there other than how long it took to actually get it. It just seals that this chapter in my life is over and I'm hurt about it for many reasons. I could write a book about all the stuff that's happening and what I feel about it but we all have to move on, right?

Anyhow, Monday I'll be six months sober. When I set out, the mere thought of being sober for so long seemed impossible. But here it is.

Anyways, I have some reading to catch up on.

You guys are amazing and I'm very glad to know you.

I'm sorry for your troubles Aarry, but know we're always here to listen, good or bad.

That's fantastic about your upcoming 6 months!

Thanks, Dee.

Everything works itself out in the end right?

You'll remember I was facing being homeless...now I'm sitting in a new apartment, much nicer than the one I had for half the rent, a stones throw away from any and every amenity anyone could want....

so yeah things do work out, Aarry yeah :)

Wow, Dee, Sparkos, and Ary all in a couple days.

Dee, Welcome back, we all missed you. . . I guessed in the thread about your 100,000th post that you would hit it on Sept 29. Then you've been gone. So, post faster!

Ary, sorry about the house situation. It will all work out - it always does. Congrats on the six months - I'm right behind you. Seems like it went really fast.

Nothing new on my end.

Dee74 08-29-2014 06:57 PM

I was only gone a week :lmao

I noticed the beetles in your signature, Dee.

This guy was outside my house about a month ago.

He's cool!

Good to see some activity in the Marchers.

Nice post about the Fair Bimini! I went to a Fair this summer for the first time in years. Looked at all the 4H animals and the rest of the competition stuff, jam, artwork, quilts and so on. It was fun but I refrained from eating anything.

Discovery14 09-02-2014 01:43 PM

Congrats on 6 months Aarry and Bimini:c011:

As usual I am right behind you both. My 6 month is coming up on Saturday.

You are right seems like a short time since I got sober. Then I think of all the stuff I have done since then! Makes me sad to think of how much time I wasted over the years, but glad that I am on a good track now.

Discovery14 09-02-2014 01:44 PM

Congrats on the new digs Dee. It is nice getting an upgrade hey?

Discovery14 09-02-2014 01:46 PM

Getting a reminder that winter is coming. In the low 40s F this morning. Might be a day for long pants:gaah

Hope everyone has a great day.

Dee74 09-04-2014 03:41 PM

Hope all the Marchers have a great sober weekend :)

Had a nice weekend off the 'Net. Definitely a chill in the air in the mornings, but warming up to comfortably warm afternoons. Didn't hike as far as I wanted but had fun and stayed sober.

Passed 6 months on Saturday. Feels good!

Hope everyone had a good weekend as is starting on a good week.

Dee74 09-08-2014 08:47 PM

Congratulations Discovery :)

I got food poisoning several times at fairs. Decided it was better and safer for me to not eat at fairs.

Hope all are doing well!
