I hope your talk goes well, FG. Serenity going into it will be the key.

I hope it's a beneficial discussion, FG. Good karma is being sent.

feeling-good 12-08-2013 10:49 AM

I hope it ends up being very beneficial too, but the proof is in the pudding - only 5 days to go!

How is everyone today? All is pretty good with me; it's been an excellent Sunday for me :)

Gilmer 12-08-2013 11:24 AM

It's snowing heavily here. I've got my family all around, and everybody is fat and sassy and having a good time.

HeadLump 12-15-2013 09:53 AM

Hello all. How is everyone doing?

I hope you're ok, feeling-good, and that the talk on Friday went the way you wanted it to. I was thinking of you

And how's your weather, Gilmer? If it's still snowing, you all must be fatter and sassier than ever! :abci:

Gilmer 12-15-2013 10:55 AM

Hi, HL! It was supposed to snow yesterday, but all we got was about 10 flurries. And the temperature's high today; all the snow we got last Sunday has melted, alas.

Oh man, rough night around here. I backed into my wife's new car and she is **** angry at me. Geez, I thought my clumsiness would go away with 11 months of sobriety. I was admiring all the outdoor lights my sons and I just finished putting up and forgot her car was there.

Hope everyone is doing better than me.

good luck Hike...

Thanks, Dee. Tomorrow I'll compare the costs of reporting it to our insurance company versus paying 100% out of pocket. But the financial costs will pale in comparison to the price I'll pay at home for that mishap. :)

Dee74 12-15-2013 07:46 PM

lol...welcome to the doghouse ;)

HeadLump 12-17-2013 07:35 AM

I hope it's nice and warm in the doghouse, L2H :) I think a very special Christmas present is called for . . . .:Xmassa

Glad you're thawing out, Gilmer :Xmaste:Xmaste:Xmaste

Gilmer 12-17-2013 08:05 AM

Hopefully the big storm at your house has blown over already, L2H! What's new with you, HeadLump? I'm trying to avoid chowing down on cookies.

HeadLump 12-17-2013 08:14 AM

Hi Gilmer, I've been 17 days without chocolate and am feeling extremely virtuous - for once!:newangel:

It was great to do the Christmas food shopping and not buy wine or spirits! I'm really excited about my first sober Christmas and my hubby has been brilliantly supportive as always:)

I'm listening to Christmas music and feeling very happy and very grateful today :) :)

Gilmer 12-17-2013 08:23 AM

I had two weeks without refined sugar, then I went on a mega-binge yesterday and ate some today, too, in the wee hours of the morning. I ended up going back to sleep till 8:30 and I feel like it's a new day.

HeadLump 12-17-2013 08:29 AM

It's definitely a new day, Gilmer :)
