Gonna look for a new puppy tomorrow afternoon, since I'm able to be a responsible parent now. :rotate:

Very cool! I wonder are we allowed to post pics here? Because really nothing's better than a new puppy pic. :)

I hope so! I'll totally post some pics if I find one. Thinking of adopting :rotate:

Welcome to September class parkec100. :-)

Groder - Have a great holiday, sounds great i love hiking, check in and say hi if you can, be great to here alls good with you.

Telco, hope22 - my sleep pattern was really screwed up, it gets better! I can sleep for England now so hang in there.

Eli - 8th, eat loads don't worry about calories, i found when i was hungry i didn't sleep, that made me tired n grumpy which is one of my triggers. Stay full and sleep for now everything will fall into place later.

Lefthook - that's 2 beautiful kids you have there, massive reason to stay sober. Great pics.

Day 29, still can't believe I've done this.

Going to have a great day taking my lad to Rugby practice this morning, then going to get some work done on my motorcycle restoration project. Its nice to have the extra cash i would have spent on drink to do other things with. :-)

Have a happy sober Sunday everyone. Podium dancing shoes on for tomorrow. X

Jimuk 09-30-2012 01:21 AM

My lad forgot to bring his Rugby boots home from school, Doh, no Rugby today.

driftapart, good luck with the puppy. We have an little dog we rescued years ago when my lad was little. He was already named Jimmy so he fitted right in haha, i'm sure he would be on this class if he had a drink problem.

I did not cave last night, and feel so proud. I am on day 8, and usually NFL Sundays are tough for me. But, I made plans with a co-worker/friend that does not drink. I am going over to his home to watch the Patriots game. I am supposed to bring my daughter as well, so she can play with their child. Not sure if my daughter will go with me, she has a stuffy nose and sore throat. I wish all of you the best, and can't wait to see you on the podium tomorrow.

Thanks Grace. I know what the right decision is, and that is to not drink. Sometimes it takes a little help to get through the urges.

Where do you live? That stinks to not be able to watch the game. If the Patriots are not on I am watching RedZone. I have found that I can watch football without booze as long as I have a good snack. I am 34, and last Sunday was the first NFL Sunday without beer in 15 years.
