HI Stone
There are some nice almond butter and lemon dill butters that people seem to like on poached fish. Personally, * I * dont eat poached fish or dill so that limits me a little.

I'll take it on the grill w lemon and/or cajun spice and/or blackening.
Another sugg.
In a tinfoil wrap as Wax Paper would not work on a grill very well. Just add some butter, fresh veggies and some garlic and onion and let it all cook for 30-40 mins and yummmmy....
Potatoes can be done the same way but sometimes take a little longer since the patatoes take more cook time if they are thick.
The cleanup fits me perfectly. There is little to none.

what the hell is a knacker ????

stone 03-19-2009 07:52 PM

I like it fried (what you call grilled) too Scott and always squeeze some lemon on fish, the tinfoil method is good too. :)

Knackers are bollocks. :)

frstnm 03-19-2009 09:06 PM

Urban Dictionary:

knackers 9 up, 20 down
An extremely tallented Animal, Normally found in hot climates, Eats sleeps & drinks Rum. Normally found in basements tendering his flock. Hates Agg wanna b's.
look at that cute Knackers

Well, I dont think this is what was meant.

Im not sure if bollocks used in that fashion means its effin great or if one would rather eat a cold bloody rat or something.
It just plain sucks ?

you say fry we say grilled ?
Im confused.

Grilled - has lines on it
pan seared ?
blackened in a big iron fry pan ?
sauted ?
deep fried in a pot of oil ? with a golden batter; or mashed up fish w cornmeal and crackers and make "meatballs" out of them ?
spices ?
cut the meat ? how?

see what you have done ! Now, I Have to know :lmao:

Good morning, all... very early morning for me, 3 am and a bad headache. Have to be up early as I'm taking the dogs to be groomed this morning. They could use it. Haven't bathed them all winter. Well, I'm going back to bed for some more sleep.:ghug

she's held her job now since august, and has a nice and caring boyfriend - grandma approved anyway. i met him over christmas, made a good first impression. she's kind of setting up the idea that she is going to move in with him. i'm staying neutral.

we talk about once a week, unless she's cooking something and needs advice. she's not managing her overdue bills. but she seems to be staying out of any new trouble. i don't think she's sober.

thanks for asking.

I'm sorry about your ex IO. I agree with that too IO. I had a problem with my ex husband harassing me years ago. He bothered me at the AA meetings even. He's in jail now for a long time and i don't have to worry about him anymore. All thought I do still have nightmares about him after all these years. I can't believe I still have bad dreams about him.

I'm feeling a little better today. Got to call the Dr again next Mon to update her. Trying not to worry about my test results.
