Good morning bottom dwellers! Headache went away and is now replaced by a bad anxiety attack. Can't win for losin'...

Dogs are being 'groomed' so will pick them up later on and they'll smell sweet and clean. They deserve a biscuit for putting up with all the bathing and trimming and cleaning!

my friend just treated me to a matinee for helping her with a wallpaper project

we saw the new j phoenix/g paltrow movie - twolovers. wow, he is great in that movie. he plays the role so "simply".

speaking of movies - me and mr k rented "rachel getting married" last wkend. it's about addiction. anybody see it? it was pretty sad. anne hathoway is terrific in it. it's a colorful movie too though, the music is really cool.

i'm actually feeling a little guilty about goofing off this afternoon, as i had a pretty good to do list. oh well, it was nice to get out for awhile. i need some "people time"..

We watched "Rachel Getting Married" this week.

Weird weird movie.

I thought Anne Hathaway was awesome in it too. Showed me that the "codies" can be much sicker than the "alkie" No offense!

Wasn't Ann Hathaway married to Henry the eighth?

ok, i have a fun little recipe for you guys, and don't knock it til ya try it i served it for lunch today to my friend and mr k, with pita bread/hummus/sliced cucumber. it was really quite good!

Greek Lemon Soup

Whisk together:
1 can campbell's cream of chicken soup, 1 can campbell's chicken with rice soup, 2 1/4 cups water, and 3 tablespoons lemon juice.

Bring soup/lemon mixture to a boil and add 1/2 cup minute rice.

Cover pot for 5 minutes and let stand off for 5 minutes before serving.

I just added a little white pepper, no salt needed for us anyway (the canned soup has enough...)

You been on this new Google Streetview Stoney.

Its great fun, been visiting all my old haunts in various places.

Most of them pubs but ......................

Still some great memories from my younger days, only last 10 years I think my drinking really became a problem, I was just a pisshead before that.

Looking back though, don't know that I'd want to change too much about my early twenties, ok I'm probably looking through rose coloured specs but don't think I'd of have so much fun had I been sober ALL the time.

Just I forgot the party had to stop and started drinking alone and then forgot to go out again I reckon.

Anyhows, my point is Streetview is good fun, had a virtual walk round Anfield and Goodison earlier ( visited them for real a few years ago ) and was also up the Shankhill rd in Belfast.

Hope this works mate, not very good at posting links and that,

Google Maps

Enter a street name, postcode, etc as usual. On the left of the map you will see a wee orange guy who you can 'drop' onto a street of your choice to view.
