And to Eddie:

There's nothing like those little black labbies - great dogs!

Grateful for running errands and grabbing some yummy frozen yogurt this evening with the hubby

Grateful to have arrived at an important decision earlier today...I had been waffling on it despite a ton of not-so-hidden messages from HP and the universe...guess I knew what I had to do all along but I can be a little hard headed at times ;)

Grateful Frances and her doggie are safe tonight

Nite all!

Hey, boyfriend and I got frozen yogurt tonight too! :) Grateful for spontaneous, fun, simple outings such as this one.

Grateful for music.

Grateful I am understanding what it means to be truly flexible. Grateful I talk myself out of obsessive, needless thoughts. Grateful I am finally able to see the long road, instead of expending all my energy on the short one.

:)

Believe it or not wellwisher, this is a HUGE part of my recovery. It is tough with three kids and a hubby that are all packrack... and over spenders (on stuff we don't need). But we are working on it everyday! I see some progress. :c011:

Good looking dog there!

Grateful I got my outside chores finished and my inside chores started. Grateful I was able to repair my lawn mower myself. Grateful that there is only one week left before the end of the world....lol...sorry the May 21 judgment day folks are all over NYC and causing me and my friends giggles...grateful that I didn't feel the need to get into it with them yesterday as they were messing up times sqhard more than usual.

"Grateful I talk myself out of obsessive, needless thoughts." <--thank you AmericanGirl

Grateful for today's dog class. Grateful for increased calm--> a (almost) well-behaved dogger. Grateful that my dog doesn't have to be trapped in my anxiety anymore and we can enjoy life more.

Grateful for meeting an internet friend and finding she's just as lovely in person as online.

Awwww, Eddie Z. - what a fine girl your pup Casey is!

These posts are so inspiring and uplifting.

Simple pleasures, sharing experiences, common goals - priceless!

Used to be a time when I wasn't happy unless there was a whirlwind around me.

Now I'm just grateful to keep the whirlwinds at bay.

Grateful I have two ears and one mouth, and not the other way around.

Prayers for those still struggling with this disease.

Have a good night all........

Thanks, Pattee, LF, Mida, and wellwisher! She is a real sweetheart. Least, did you see my doggy??

Grateful for the courage to get up on a horse today for the first time since before I got clean over 8 & 1/2 years ago. I was pretty unsteady and my back hurt so I couldn't stay on long, but I was proud of myself for doing it, though.

And grateful for nice chats with family back home this morning. It was good to check in with Mom, Dad, and husband (even though he's soon-to-be ex).

Happy SAturday night, y'all!
love and hugs,
Eddie :brain

Grateful to read all the uplifting gratitude posts on here tonight that have helped get me out my current funk a little.
Grateful this time in my life is *so* much better than it once was, and that there is alot more opportunity to make it even better. Thanks guys. Goodnight, Penny

Sneezy 05-15-2011 04:35 AM

Casey! What a beautiful face!

Thanks Eddie for introducing us to your girl :)

ItWillBeWorthIt 05-15-2011 05:28 AM

Cute girl you have Eddie. And great job on getting back on the horse.

eddie z. 05-15-2011 07:29 AM

Thanks, May and Sneezy!! Casey still acts like a puppy when she has visitors. I don't know if that's just the breed or if it's her in particular. Doesn't matter; it's great either way, right?

Have a beautiful SUnday, everyone! It's windy as heck and gloomy here and supposedly we may have snow here in Reno today. That's the only good reason for windy and gloomy as far as I'm concerned. Love snow!

Love and hugs,
Eddie :brain
