Your beach pebbles made me think of another way to cool off. Smooth river type rocks (I found mine along the coast in your area) can really hold on to cold; if you have any, you could try wetting them a bit and putting them in the freezer for a while. You could place some near you in bed while you sleep.

I have made good progress in the last week. COVID fatigue is still with me but is getting better - had a rather ‘normal human being’ day yesterday and then slept soundly for 15 hours :scared:
