Ended the day with a great evening. Hubby took a nap (got little sleep due to the fire) and I did some things around the house. Son stopped by so mom could help him set up a budget (he's 22 and still learning!). Hubby woke and we watched a movie together, did our readings together, talked a little and headed to bed (for sleep) we were both very tired.
All in all it was a great weekend and The whole day sunday turned out much better than I EVER expected. The only reason it did was because we both worked our program. A year ago this day would have been a huge mess ending in a huge screaming match with nothing but anger and tears filling our home. Today, because we have grown, it was a pleasant and fun day filled with love, reassurance and growth in trust. Thank you God for AA, Al anon and of course SR.
