Buddhism speaks of 'impermanence' as a reminder all things can end. Having things, abilities, and, people that we lose is not the cause of any suffering. It's wanting to hang onto (cling to) what we can no longer have. There is where I would suffer. The universe is in perfect balance when life and death play out. It is me that gets out of wack with the natural harmony of things.
