I observed drunk people in action over Xmas talking nonsense and topping up people’s drinks despite protests (from someone who was driving!) They just lose all sense of responsibility. It’s way too early to be around such people, chancellor. Give it a few months at least. Six days is great, but you have to admit it’s very early in recovery.
