Why Thank the Speaker
Does anyone else think it's right and good to thank a speaker after they share their experience, strength and hope? I always stand in the receiving line to do so because I was taught its "what we do" but I get a lot of flak from my friends who say its not necessary and only serves to feed a speakers ego. Thoughts?
