I don't know where you heard this, but remember it's is just a wild-ass prediction about the future. In my 60+ years of existence I have found that most predictions of the future never happen or are wildly inaccurate.
Look at this wildly inaccurate prediction of the future.

Today, most everyone carries a computer (in the form of a cell phone) in their pocket.
