Plenny perhaps you're missing the intimacy of having a partner, someone to share things with. It's easier to miss a specific person than someone you have yet to meet. You have to believe that if you put yourself out there, the right person will cross your path. In the meantime, perhaps think of things you can do that may increase your personal contact with others.
