We all can stop for maybe a day, 2, a week, 10 days,
15 or more. That's not a problem. The problem is staying
stopped which is the hardest thing for any alcoholic or
someone with an addiction to a toxic substance to do.

With so many failed attempts to add up some sober
time, vowing to never drink again, calling us liars,
weaklings, sick, we pick up right where we started
from.

Except now, that monster alcohol has returned with
vengeance. More powerful than before. It's strength
and determination to destroy us is relentless.

There are many options available to us now that we
can replace our addiction for it which in the long run
will be heathier for us.

Coming here to SR and reading how folks get and
remain sober is one way or get ones self in a rehab
facility to be taught about our addiction and a recovery
program to help guide you each day sober for yrs to
come.

Councilor are available, therapists or surrounding ourselves
with others sitting and listening to them share about their lives
before, during and after their addiction providing support to
all those wanting to achieve continuous sobriety.

There is more than one method to getting and staying sober.

With willingness, openmindedness and honesty, we all
can find what we are looking for, and we never have to
be alone in doing so.

Grab ahold of someones coat tail and hang on tight as
they guide you along, showing you how it can be done
so that you never have to pick up alcohol or drugs again.

Your journey into recovery begins right here, right now
with support, care, understanding from many just like
you, me or us.
