Em we’re all with you for support. I hope you managed ok. I have been in similar situations and it sucks! My family has this tradition of going to the local pub to celebrate birthdays, so it happens fairly frequently. The next one is coming up soon, and I feel some anxiety beforehand in the lead up to it.
