Politics has absolutely nothing to do with sobriety. We understand that we need each other and the solidarity of mutual concern. We need to learn, to give, to receive, to ask for help, and offer a helping hand in friendship. Politics does none of that. Instead, it separates people into petty tribes, and the benefit of the individual is lost in the confusion of tribal warfare.
