I'm so glad to hear this, FC. This can be the last time you ever feel like that--you are correct--no one deserves to feel the kind of torment that alcohol provides. Sobriety opened up so many different opportunities for me to live a decent, fulfilled, and dignified life, and my life is infinitely better sober--no one has ever regretted stopping drink.
