Jewel - Be proud of yourself for making this life changing decision. I'm sorry to say I didn't do it until I was much older - and the damage it caused was horrible. This won't happen to you - you are getting free of it & will have a sober life, lived with eyes wide open. You'll take care of problems as they pop up & not try to hide from them by getting numb.
