Erratic, I think that's a really good idea and also maybe plan with your husband to have a holiday or something else you really want, with the money you save,to give you an incentive. Is he going to do the same with the money he saves by not picking up? You'll save a fortune. Ask him also to make a pledge not to buy you alcohol for your birthday, anniversaries, or anything else you celebrate. It will be so, so much easier if the two of you can do it together. Good luck, it's definitely worth a try.
