I think the best thing is for you to talk to a doctor. You are drinking very large volumes over a long time so I defiantly wouldn't stop drinking suddenly as you don't know how your body will react.
I've heard of people drinking less than you over a shorter time period having seizures, everyone is different. Detox will be hard for the while you have to go through it, I had to be detoxed properly twice before my respective treatments. Good luck.
