Yesterday I figured that I've been spending $2-3 grand a year just for the normal after work beer. That doesn't count the extra $12 bottle of wine here and there, the glasses of draught with dinner, the bottle picked up on the way to friends house, etc etc. I've thought about it before, along with other reasons to put it down, but in the end it always came back to "$15 and forget about the daily stresses, the work, the PITA customer, and feel better until tomorrow". But man, $3,000 would pick up a really nice precision rifle, pay for a modest family trip, or go good in the IRA.
