You're going to be really glad in the long-view once you're off them for a while. In the meantime it's just uncomfortable.

I had success with breathing exercises and tapping (which sounds kind of woo, but it worked for me.) Look for Jessica Ortner "how to tap" on Youtube. It's just accupressure.
