Yes, I have used all of these modalities with great positive effect.
Physical yoga was originally developed as a meditation aid, not an end-in-itself.
It was a way to make space in the body for mind--for consciousness to grow.
It still is, though that initial intent has largely been forgotten for the most part.
You can discover it if you listen to you body.
The mind is there sometimes screaming, sometimes dead silent, but consciousness is
always present if you can but find it
