The physical side of healing

Mind, body and emotions are very connected.

My physical therapist very succinctly talks about this. About energy connections, how the body responds and beautiful, skillful ways to allow awareness and healing, along with very quick exercises for both the body and mind that also results in deeper emotional releases.

From my naturopathic doctors I've gained insight and healing in many ways, including vitamin D, biotin, bulletproof coffee and blood tests to verify and determine exactly what was going on.

Reiki has been great experiences for me.

Yoga has been, too.

One day at a time.

Yes, I have used all of these modalities with great positive effect.

Physical yoga was originally developed as a meditation aid, not an end-in-itself.
It was a way to make space in the body for mind--for consciousness to grow.

It still is, though that initial intent has largely been forgotten for the most part.

You can discover it if you listen to you body.
The mind is there sometimes screaming, sometimes dead silent, but consciousness is always present if you can but find it . . .

Yep - reiki, yoga, exercise, massage, acupuncture, vitamins, bloodwork, etc. All have been instrumental in helping me on my path toward healing.

I want to 2nd everything Hawkeye said especially - meditation and healing from the mind-out was just as critical for me. These sessions help me hit AHA moments that I couldn't reach any other way & I always feel an immediate physical change/release when it happens.

My absolute favorite is walking meditations - it's active but mental & I interact with nature a lot. I've had AHA moments hit me so hard during my walks that I stop suddenly as though I hit some invisible wall, lol!

I appreciate my strength in new ways.

1. Strong emotions, in positive ways.

2. Spiritual strength.

3. Creativity. Strengths in this is helping me in all areas.

4. Physical strength. Hands, arms, legs, feet, core. All muscles.

5. Inner child strength. As I do inner child work, these connections to all parts of my life are strengthened and the memories I have are now approached with new skills, acknowledgement and stronger, new perspectives.

Thank you for sharing Mango!
Al-Anon has done wonders (although still early) for my mind.
but I've been ignoring the physical side so I just made a gameplan!

It was actually but 30 mins right before I saw this post!
