Having said that, I am sorry to hear about your son’s injury. I am sure you have a lot on your plate right now and I wish you the best. I know you are not about to drink, but staying sober will surely give you the best shot, also with regard to the custody issues.
I have had many a day when all I could say was “at least I’m still sober and that’s a biggie”.
