Win - tried a new podcast & ended up liking it more than expected!
Win - I've been wanting a quick getaway (preferably laid-back & nature-centric) & have been drooling at the idea of a beach weekend..... but yesterday friends invited the 3 of us to their lake house this weekend & it's just a couple of hours away. A different kind of nature than I "expected" & it's just far enough away without being "too" far.
Win - DD has had a couple of visits with my mom in the last couple of months & keeps unwittingly validating my decision to stay NC with her for my sanity.
Win - lots of little stresses & snags in life every time I turn around (or so it seems) but somehow things keep working out for the best in ways I could never map out or predict.
