Things do get better. The first hours are bad, then it may seem to get worse as your body is calling out for "alcohol" and making demands and false promises if you give into the addiction. Once you choose to stop all you can do is drink lots of water, eat healthy, rest or pace as the hours go by. Posting helps. I counted the hours knowing that it would be over when I hit 100+hours! (But, everyone is different. )And I would never want to feel that way again.
